that was up for question last night.

I'm housesitting and the dogs were barking at nothing for a good two hours. They kept growling and barking at the front door and windows and I couldn't see anything outside other then the front yard. The neighbors weren't even outside. I sort of was wondering if there was a serial killer or something.

I also "lost" the cat. Yet when I woke up she was sitting on the couch staring at me. I hate cats. Somehow she managed to hide somewhere in the house (and I looked everywhere) all night and made me think she got outside.

Ugh. I'm here til Monday evening. This should be fun.

Apparently we still have the LI Pulse account....three days before the site is supposed to go live. So, yay money! This means I've got many hours of work ahead of me for the next three days in theory. For once I may actually work slow when I'm doing their website.

Ok -- I did one of those today. We had a meeting for my mom's newest discharge from the hospital and not even five minutes into it they're all screaming at each other with me just sitting there telling the doctor "See, they're all crazy. Not just her." I think he agreed with me.

I've been house/cat/bunny sitting for a few days for Colleen. Probably the most peaceful week and a half I've had in 2 years. Just me, the animals and my own pseudo-apartment til Friday. I think I'll cry when I have to leave.

In other "wow you're a moron" news - I lost my wallet in NYC on Saturday night. Went to Crocodile Lounge for my friend's 26th birthday and misplaced the wallet sometime between 4am when we left Beauty Bar on 14th and 1st and 5:30am when we tried to leave the Diner on 1st and 73rd. Needless to say I was unthrilled with myself. Had to cancel bank cards/credit cards (which means until my banks sends me a new ATM card I am virtually cashless).

Tinted Windows show in less then a month. Probably more excited about this then any other show coming up. Though the trip to Baltimore for 8 bucks to see Fall Out Boy is pretty high up there. Mainly because it's only gonna cost 8 bucks to get there.

Not much else to write about. My life is boring. :(

I'm a really bad Irish girl. I'm not doing shit today. Ok, so I'm going to Friday's with my friends for dinner at like 6:30 but that does not count.

Today is amateur hour. It's like New Years - people who don't drink socially normally come out in droves and drink til they puke making the holiday almost unenjoyable. All I want to do is jump on a train, go to NYC and see The Pogues in somewhat relative peace with my fellow Micks. Is that too much to ask? Apparently.

(I'd rather see Dropkick or Flogging Molly - but they're in Boston/Chicago respectively)

Oh and NO you are NOT Irish "Today" - Irish people are Irish all the time. The rest of you are still Italian, Spanish, German, Polish, ENGLISH, Russian, Asian...pick a culture. You're not Irish. You're just probably drunk. And I won't kiss you.

I literally have no left my bedroom except to eat or shower in a week (at least I've been showering). I then put clean PJs on.

I need a job. This is seriously becoming a mental health issue. Cause yesterday I was really really hungry but it meant leaving my bed and I decided not to eat. I think I'm giving myself agoraphobia (fear of leaving your home).

Got my bamboozle tickets and hotel. So that's set. Also, scored tickets to Tinted Windows at the Mercury Lounge. I fear for Taylor Hanson's life. 250 person capacity. No barricade. A bar stage. Crazy Hanson fangirls. I'm gonna be standing in the back drinking and dancing. The others...not so much. Though my friend and I also realized with the guest list that show's gonna have of industry people/friends that it might have oversold.

Trying to write a novel. Need a topic first. Shit.

See...this is why I must get out of my house. I have nothing to write about. I am contemplating a trip in NYC some day randomly next week. Just a day trip to go to a museum and do something for "myself". I can wander around the Met and stare at paintings or I could go to the Natural History museum and pretend the dinosaurs are alive like I'm 6 again.

It's The Cab covering Rhianna's Disturbia. And it's good. Like really good. (Though I'm also sure it's been autotuned within an inch of it's life, Singer's good and Ian's a really decent guitarist, but they aren't this tight normally)
